Since I know so much about the mechanics and business of aircraft, I often find myself bored when taking a flight. I'm taking CO425 EWR-CLE on Friday and I wonder what others on this forum do to make their flight a better learning experience. (Thanks, of course, to everyone on the forums. I've learned a great deal from reading it over the years!)

Well you can always make like the mindless sheep you will be sharing the flight with and ignore the aircraft altogether and read or listen to some tunes. I personally still enjoy watching for/listening to the different phases of the flight on either end. (flap and gear settings, power changes and trying to guess which runway you'll be landing on based on landmarks and the direction the aircraft has turned)
Give me a mile of road and I can take you a mile. Give me a mile of runway and I can show you the world.
