Summary:

A rowdy pax was removed from flight 391 after an unscheduled stop in ELP. The passenger is now in FBI custody...wonder if "crew interference" was involved .

...by not following the direction of the FAs, that's pretty much a given.

I'll let the PR folks announce any details, but suffice it to say that the gent removed was not being nice....

Updated info:

The pax was, as suspected, officially arrested for "interference with a flight crew." Also, his name was released...he is a 44 year old male from Las Vegas. Follow the link from the original post for the info.

Are people who do this kind of stuff typically banned from flying Southwest, and if so, how long? I wonder how airlines differ in their "banned" list policies.....

Wow! It only took them 20 minutes to land, get the FBI to remove the passenger, refile a new flight plan and depart, quite impressive!

I don't know about this but I would ban him from flying in the whole US!

Cheers!
Tomas.
