Quoting EMBQA (Reply 3): I want to say right after 9/11.
Yup, along with Cleveland, Honolulu, Phoenix, Detroit, Albuquerque (Ambassadors club was closing anyway) to name a few. Honolulu re-opened in the form of a Qantas Club.
I want to go ahead and say that American is the second or third biggest carrier at Nashville (behind Southwest and Delta), so it's about time they reopen their Admirals Club, especially, as Mark said, the mix of Destinations (American serves the three biggest cities in the US nonstop from Nashville).

Now all they need to do is reopen the clubs in Houston, Phoenix and Seattle, and the world will return to cosmic balance.

I've not seen recent numbers, but it wouldn't shock me if AA were bigger than DL now. ATL is down to 2x 752, 3x 738, 2x M88, and 2x 50 seaters, and everything else is Connection.
