I almost beg to differ. I am not sure how many CRJs Mesaba has, but I see more Northwest CRJs flying over my folk's house while I am up in the Detroit area than I see Saab 340s. It is rare that I even see an ARJ-85 anymore. I was thinking that Mesaba Saab 340s are pretty much just being used for Intrastate routes with a few to Toledo and Fort Wayne.

They had two from Pinnacle, but have since returned them.

They fly to Latrobe and cities in and near Minnesota. I'm sure they're around MEM flying to nearby cities as well. They don't go off too far...
Flying an aeroplane with only a single propeller to keep you in the air. Can you imagine that? -Capt. Picard

A year ago I flew DTW-RFD (Rockford, IL)a few times. It has since been discontinued. I miss that route. Now im stuck going through ORD and taking the bus to RFD.
I wish UA flew mainline to MYR, that way you wouldn't be stuck in a smelly Saturn for 12 hours.

Pinnacle is larger at all 3 hubs than Mesaba.
Mesaba has 49 Saab's, 1 CRJ, and ~12 ARJ's left (which will be gone in Dec.)
Pinnacle has 129 CRJ's in service.
Simply, Pinnacle has more flights in all 3 hubs, however, as said, DTW is Pinnacle's largest base.
Mesaba's 2 CRJ's did not come from Pinnacle, they were a part of the 15 that were to be delivered that were stopped when NW filed Ch.11. One was turned over to operate the Compass certificate.
There are a ton of routes that Mesaba and Pinnacle fly out of DTW. Go look at the online timeline, there are too many to list. There are many city pairs that both airlines serve, depending on the specific flight.

Yeah I meant that. They seem to be doing all intrastate stuff though and maybe a neighboring state. I remember back in the day Mesaba used to fly to places in West Virginia and Knoxville with Saab 340s, but probably those are all done with Pinnacle CRJs now
