Hong Kong Regional Carrier CR Airways (N8) will be renaming the airlines soon to Hong Kong Air.

Hong Kong Air: www.hkairlines.com

N8 currently operating a fleet of 3x 737-800 out of HKG.

Hong Kong is not China. Not better or worse, just different.

Don't they have other birds as well? I'm sure I saw a smallish regional with engines mounted at the rear in their colors at HKG a couple of weeks ago.

I'm tired of the A vs. B sniping. Neither make planes that shed wings randomly!

They used to operate two CRJ200s and a single CRJ700. Another CRJ700 was fully painted in CPN but never delivered. The two CRJ200s have been returned to Shandong Airlines and the -700 still sits in Hong Kong although it has not flown for quite a few weeks now. Not entirely sure what is happening to that one.

They will receive another 737-800 early december.

Especially the airline swallowed by Cathay in late 1950s is resurrecting again.....At least former is pax and latter is cargo.

I agree, the livery is a really, oudated, mainland China style, it is sad that they could not do better.

Looking at the picture, it seems that the name painted on the plane is "Zhong Fu Airlines", in other words, "Hong Kong" does not form part of their name. Is this right ?

Does anyone know when they'll sign for their 787s? Also which version of the 787 did they order?

The name has not changed yet, although this will be the colours which Hong Kong Air uses.

Did Hong Kong Air (CR Airways) ordered the Boeing 777?

Here is the link where I got the info from, but I don't think Hong Kong Air (CR Airways) ordered the Boeing 777. It even says that they were acquired from BR.  confused

So is this information not true?
