Yesterday morning it was reported on our Manchester (MHT) Yahoo web Group that UPS flew a 727-100 here from Pittsburgh (?). The plane, apparently, is still at MHT and is scheduled to go out to Peoria (?) later tonight. We get a pretty routine schedule of UPS flights here: 2x A300s from Louisville and a 757 from PHL.

My first guess is that this is one of the passenger 727s that UPS has. Could that be it? If so, anyone know why it's in Manchester? A sports charter would be a good guess, but I cannot piece together who/what it might be for.

Thanks for whatever help someone can give!

Chris in NH

I thought they got rid of that around 2000 or so? I know they had a passenger airline service with their 727's, but I don't think they're still doing that.

Is there anymore information on UPS' passenger services? I wasn't aware of these services.

Ineteresting that its on its way into PIA, my hometown. I saw that on Flight Aware and thought that was a little odd that it was originating in MHT. I have no idea why it would make a stop here in Peoria, but I suppose I'll see it soon.
