My flight tracker is showing flight NW9868 , LFBO- MSP. What ship is this? making how many A330s for NW? Spoze, you could say this will be the plane that will push the 10s out of service. This in my opinon is a sad day.
Plane should be landing in a short while ( 12:17 CST).

One of my fellow rampers said he saw 3 A330s at MSP today (one more than the 2 regularly scheduled) I had a feeling that this must of been a new delivery. he thinks it looked more like a A330-200, if so its N861NW, if its a -300 its N812NW.

Quoting Express1 (Reply 3): I can confirm that NW's new Airbus is the A330-200 (N861NW), seen prior to delivery on the 22nd October 06

So once NW gets the 787, and finished all it's A330 deliveries, how longhaul aircraft will it have in total? (including the B744's). That seems like a pretty siginificant long haul fleet. Around 70 types. Did NW order more A330's than it had DC-10's? Can we expect them to start new routes with these aircraft once most have them will be delivered? I was under the impression that the A333 was used for the TATL flights, if so, if there are 15 more on order, yet there are no more DC-10's flying to Europe, save 1, then what will they use the additional aircraft for?

They will use some 333's from HNL. I hope they plan to use some of them for widebody domestic service like the DC10 operated. That would be great!
