Anybody Up On AN28/38 Garrett Conversion?

Does anybody have any information on the upgrade of the An 28/38 aircraft to the Garrett TPE-331 engine.

I belive that I saw one up here in Anchorage the other day. It definatly was an AN-28 airframe but I couldn't make out the powerplants since it was dark out. They deffinatly sounded like Garretts, enough that I looked to see if it was one of my aircraft that I was expecting in.

Any info would be much appreciated.

I havent heard anything either on the An-28 conversions, but I do believe that the An-38 has not reached production level, because of the lack of funds. The Garrett engine is an option on the An-38.

I really wish I had gotten a better look at that 28 when it was in Anchorage. I do know that PZL is supposedly marketing a PT-6 powered AN-28 under the name Skytruck. But I am more interested in the Garrett conversion.
