I am in Singapore waiting for my flight back to the US. 8 is not only a lucky number for this couple; it is considered lucky by many Chinese. October is the 8th in the Chinese calender and I have seen wedding parties every day for the 2 weeks that I was here.
Different cultural practices are very interesting to me to learn about and see.
