Eurofly will once again be flying to JFK from Bologona, Naples, Palermo and FCO next summer, beginning in May:

GJ 940 NAP JFK (-2-4-6-) 14:50 18:30
GJ 941 JFK NAP (1-3-5--) 21:30 11:55

GJ 932 PMO JFK (1---5--) 14:45 18:30
GJ 933 JFK PMO (---4--7) 21:30 12:00

GJ 928 BLQ JFK (--3---7) 15:25 18:30
GJ 929 JFK BLQ (-2---6-) 21:30 11:30

GJ 956 FCO JFK (-2-4567) 14:10 18:00
GJ 957 JFK FCO (-2-4567) 20:50 11:25

and it seems GJ's FCO-DEL flights may be coordinated to provide a connection with the JFK flight. Talk is GJ may market a JFK-DEL flight via FCO next year.

A total of 12 weekly JFK-Italy flights and FCO goes to 5 x week instead of 3 x week, well done!

Also, the 5x per week MXP-JFK will continue, with the A319.

I wonder if they actually make money on the all business flight from MXP?

Very interesting to note the new shifted departure times. Flights are now leaving much later in the evening, arriving at their destinations just before noon. I guess the later departure is good for business pax dept JFK. Well done for me who flies them to BLQ from FLL. Gives me a later connecting flight on DL or B6!

From what I hear in Italy, Eurofly is doing a lot better now that it is out of the Alitalia group. With ownership in Luxembourg and private Italian management, they seem to be getting along quite nicely.

If AZ goes sideways (which has been predicted now for the end of the year), Eurofly may be the airline of choice for the Italians. They sure beat AZ to the punch by putting an A319LR on JFK-MXP (similar product to Magnifica Class, except with bedseats), which I understand is doing pretty well. Does anyone else have any factual information on the Eurofly operation? All I am hearing is, frankly, talk.

Sounds interesting! An A330 though? Maybe slightly on the hopeful side?
