Howdy Folks,

Had a walk round the new T5 construction site the otherday and wanted to share the following photographs with you, externally and internally.

I must say its a very impressive structure and looks very nice inside!

Looks good! I love taking off at LHR and seeing it from above. The new terminal is often on BBC London news I saw a small piece about it a few weeks ago.

Looking good! Now if only they could replace the other 4 terminals with ones that looked like that, LHR would finally be an airport worthy of its status!!

I managed to get a look around the site in May last year. It certainly has progressed a lot since - it's starting to look more like a terminal rather than just a building site.

Well, remember what happened to CDG's beautiful looking terminal....... Those pix don't really show off how nice T5a really is though unfortunately. It's truly a massive structure and looks amazing from all angles.
