No big suprise there, the pilots had to reach a deal in order to save face. What was the alternative? get another job and lose all your seniority? It was all tough talk, but in the end, they know they are screwed if they don't reach a deal. I'm hoping the mechanics show a little spine at least.

Luvrsw, they've been pretty much screwed anyways- they want to throw out their contract and pay them pennies- at least out of Mesaba they'd have a reasonable chance at a better job. I'm sure even flight instrucing pays more than some of those FO's make after all the ruthless cuts. Unfortunately they fell the same way Delta MEC did, with their faithful MEC chairman and Duane Worthless to lead the way.
