Quote: AO PAULO (MarketWatch) -- Brazil's no-frills airline Gol Linhas Aereas (GOL) placed a firm order for 20 Boeing (BA) 737-800NG jets, raising the total number of firm orders to 87, the company said in a press release Monday.
The airline said the order allows it to pursue plans to "expand and reduce costs."
Gol also increased the number of options on Boeing 737-800NGs by 20, taking total orders to 121, said the release.

Quoting NYC777 (Reply 4): I think this is probably one of the UFO orders but that will be confirmed by Boeing (probably today).
That's what I was thinking--previously reported as a UFO.

Amazing growing, one will replace PR-GTD lost last month, but the other 19 aircrafts are just because the market will need more.
My big question is that Brazilian Airports (despite some few options) and Air space, keep space for such growing (Tam expect 127 planes, Gol 121, Varig 60, WebJet 20, Ocean Air, 35, BRA 20....)... for sure we will have pax!
And we will see very soon Lan Brazil !
