Will AeroMexico Resume DTW?

Earlier this year, there were rumours AeroMexico was planning to resume service to DTW.

Has anyone heard more information about this rumour?

AeroMexico served DTW from 1964 to 1975, with DC-8s flying MEX-DTW-YYZ. Canadian Pacific competed against AeroMexico, also with DC-8s, routed MEX-YQG (Windsor, Ontario)-YYZ, but no US carrier flew DTW-MEX until NW added the route in the mid-90s.
