Hi Guys,

I'm working on a proposal at work and I was wondering if any of you can help me out... I need the list of all LCCs around the world - perhaps broken down by region?

Any help will be much appreciated? Has there been a post before on this forum about this?

Cheers

In the US we have Southwest, Frontier, jetBlue, and AirTran to name a few. In Canada, you have WestJet. In Brazil there's GOL. In Europe, Ryanair and Easyjet. Just to name a few.

There's a pretty exhaustive list on Wikipedia, and yes it's broken down by region:

LOL... Adam Air makes the list? LOL an LCC wannabe at best... Lion too? They're changing back to premium! Their subsidiary Wings Air is the LCC. Then they missed ExpressAir...

Thanks guys - and can I ask you for another favour - what reservation systems do these airlines use? Does anyone have any resource on the web? maybe a website dedicated to this technology?

Cheers

I believe SABRE still has the lions share of US airlines reservations.
