Just one day after announce they will buy 4 Boeing 777-300ER with more 4 options, TAM released their 3Q results with very good numbers.

Net profit in BR-GAAP was US$ 99,5 million (R$ 212,7 million) and net cash of more than US$ 1 billion (R$ 2,234 billion).

Load factor was 76,9% (Domestic 75,9% International 79,2%), which means demand is still very high (4 years ago was closer to 59% !).

TAM fleet by the end of 3Q was 90 planes (10 A332, 45 A320, 13 A319 and 22 F100) but this number has been already increase to 93 and it's expected to reach 96 by year end.

Revenue goes up by 35% over 3Q 2005, Yield grow 4% and RASK (international) 21,6% while domestic RASK grows only 1,1%. Cargo business also grow 24,5%

Future Plans: Tam confirm their 3rd flight to CDG and also say "Two new international long haul frequencies"

Great news Felipe!
Any idea where the two new routes will be? I remember you telling me you thought Milan would be one. How about Los Angeles?

Hi Halfa !
Yes, Milan it's included but it depends on bilateral change. One should be GIG-MIA and the other GRU-MXP. Unfortunately, no comments from Tam CEO and CFO today about new US destinations.
