On October 19th, I was at CDG for my flight to TLV, and there was a Cathay Pacific plane.Usually, I know that they use 744s but this day, I couldn't see what a/c type it was.I could only see the tail, and it seemed to be the tail of an A330 or A340.
Does anyone know something about that?Did CX really dend an Airbus to CDG?

For the summer schedule (which ended last WE), CX added a 2nd flight some days of the week, departing around 5 or 6 pm, and I'm not 100% sure but they may have done it with an A340. The other usual flight departs at lunch time and is always (AFAIK) a B747.

It seems that, for the winter program (for PAX flights), only the flight in 744 remains for CX

Cathay always has atleast a 744 daily to Hong Kong. Cathay's 744 cross the Pacific to California and Canada & fly to Europe(LHR, CDG, FCO and FRA). That's their easy mission in life. J'berg sometimes too.

nah, the 744s do most of the long flights but inbetween long flights, they also do lots of regional flights to places like BKK / SIN / TPE / NRT / KIX / ICN / CTS.

life is not easy for them lol.
