I've notice that DL has upgraded to mainline from RJ's out of SLC to BNA,CMH,CLE. They were previously operated with E70 and most recently the CR9 to BNA. I've seen these aircraft relocated to ATL for the November schedule. Once again, IND was not included in the mainline upgrade and we are still without our SLC flights. I guess we are too close to CVG for our own flight.

I was hoping MKE would be included as that route is currently flown with a CRJ7. Anyone know how that route is doing? DL has been on a cutback lately as they downgraded all flights to CRJs (or did they leave a couple? I can't remmember) not to long ago.

IS there a chance SLC-LIT could get upgraded or even a COE to an E70? Loads have been doing pretty good...

Quoting Aeroflot777 (Reply 1): When did that happen? You don't even have RJ flights anymore? I flew SLC-IND on E70 last November...
Even though the flights were always approaching capacity, I'm told the yields were not that great. Fares diluted by WN competition through STL is the word on the street. But the shortage of a/c is why DL ended it last September. I'm certain that once DL has enough a/c this is one that will return permanently.

I just checked Delta.com and it still shows E170 CMH-SLC for a bunch of random days in Nov. When does SLC go mainline?

SLC-MSY was downgraded from an MD-90 to a CR9, as well.
Not that it isn't nice to see a new aircraft type here, but we don't need the decrease in capacity when there is already a seat shortage here.

With the 732s and 733s now long gone for DL, there is a serious shortage of mainline a/c, even CRJ-7/9 a/c with network contract carriers is now an issue with DL. The balancing act they must do with a/c has got to be one of the biggest logistical nightmares management must deal with at this phase of their restructure.

Interesting, I'm holding 2 skysaver seats for CMH-SLC Jan 19 return 22. It seems those flights no longer exist. (I was connecting in ATL)I wonder what is going to happen when I confirm them? I also checked Delta.com and skysaver seats are no longer listed in coach but they are in first. So I could go skychoice for 50k in coach or skysaver in first for 45K. hmmmmmm What would you do?

Quoting PoRtColuMBus (Reply 7): December 15th it looks like, changes to an MD-90.
Sweet! It'll be cool seeing the M90s in CMH. Is this a seasonal change from the E-170, or does it look like it will be this way for a while?
