What's The Story With The Ex-MH 747-400 At BFI?

I was driving along I-5N here in Seattle, and I pulled over to watch the former Malaysia Airways 747-400 land at BFI(still in it's colours). It's been passing through on and off over the years since 2003. I don't know the reg because it's not visible from any view point. Anyone know have any info on this 747?

I read today that Boeing is leasing the aircraft for 747-800 development testing. Perhaps the story was in Flight International.
