I have seen XtraAirways 737-400 N43XA at ORD 3 times this week.
Does anybody know who is operating the flights?

Isn't Xtra Airways still doing ad hoc charters to Elko, NV and Wendover, UT?

They don't do EKO anymore. Just ENV for the Peppermill group of casinos there.

I thought they were flying people to casinos (like National 2), are how does an operation like this work (I mean are the flights to ENV scheduled..)?

Either way I hope they have sorted this bird out as I worked on this aircraft when it was TF-ELV last year, and it was a state. They have another of our old 734s too with TF-ELP as N42XA and had TF-ELJ as N41XA.

The ENV flights are charters which serve cities around the western United States. The Peppermill Corporation subsidizes the flights to lure people to drop cash at the casinos from areas with people who usually wouldn't gamble at ENV.

It works though from what I hear, or else I suppose the charter system would already have been trashed.

Thanks Copa,

I understand now I think - so the airline is owned by someone else and the Peppermill Corp charters the flights.
