This evening’s ‘Tonight’ programme (ITV 1 (UK - most regions) at 20:00 – 20:30 GMT) features FR and MOL in “Life of Ryan” which is described as
Quote: Investigating the low cost airline Ryanair as it attempts a takeover of Aer Lingus. Fiona Foster takes an in-depth look at the company that revolutionised air travel, including controversial boss Michael O'Leary's management style that has upset regulators and passengers alike
Might be interesting to watch, particularly for the FR Basher Brigade!
If the rumours are true, it features a.net's own Pe@rson!

MOL on SRB's latest attack at BA: "It's like a little Chihuahua barking at a dying Labrador. Nobody cares."

Very interesting indeed. Wish it was on BBC/America.

people either love Ryanair for its cheap fares or loathe them for their crap service, but at the end of the day the passenger figures speak for themselves
I remember about 30 years ago when there was much criticism of the Sun newspaper for its reliance on sensationalist headlines, and a nude woman on page 3, its then editor saying that no one ever lost money by underestimating the taste of the British public
It seems to me that the Ryanair situation falls very much in the same category; whilst we might like to think of us as being sophisticated travellers, requiring polite staff, comfy seats, good on board food, compensation for delayed flights etc; show us a cheap ticket and stand aside or be trampled in the rush.
