Oooooooo... just seen a Concorde and the Red Arrows do a low fly past over Edinburgh city centre (and my office) to mark the opening of the new Scottish parliament. Almost brought a tear to my eye.

If anybody happend to see the royal wedding in England a few days ago, you might have noticed a roar form the concorde leaving Heathrow around six local time. So even at royal weddings, aviation is present!

Just for the fun of it.

Regards Dan

"I hope you forgot your camera !!!"... oh yes!

I'd heard the Red Arrows would be there but I'd forgotten about it. I didn't find out about Concorde till someone said this morning "don't forget, 12:20, Concorde". They were quite low, about 1500-2000 ft, I'd guess. I went outside at 12:15 and at 12:22 there they were, Concorde leading with the Red Arrows sweeping back from it's wingtips.

I have seen Concorde here in FAO about 10 years ago on take off and I have seen the Red Arrows about 6 years ago on full display at the portuguese Air Force Air Show. I only have one word to describe the two:

Luis, Faro, Portugal
