With several recent fare hikes pushed through by the majors, where do you think fares will be one year from now?

I think as long as the economy stays strong or at least stays consistent with today's levels we will see higher fares. However, if the economy cools won't fares go downward with the economy?

Southwest will probably push through a hike or two to compensate for their increase in fuel prices and the majors would certainly welcome that with a fare hike of their own.

I would imagine they will continue to generally trend upwards.
