I was searching fares to LHR next spring via SFO or LAX and VS is about $330.00 more than BA for PE vs. WTP. I understand VS seat width is 20.0" while BA is 18.5". Does the higher fare correlate to better service. I am flying VS this week from SFo to LHR in PE and thought about BA-WTP IAH-DTW-LHR-DTW-IAH in the spring...love the B763s. Your thoughts? Thanks. PAris Hilton and I have something in common, every inch counts(20vs18.5).

The new PE seats currently being fitted by VS are far and away the best of their kind (to be fair the old ones weren't)
I have sat in the new PE seats and I was impressed. The leather is the same as that used in the J suites and gives a much classier feel to the cabin. The seats are more adjustable and VS now offer a vastly upgraded service (previously it was basically economy meals and amenities) featuring catering and crockery excusive to premium economy.
These should be on all the B744 fleet by next spring. With this in mind the extra is definately worth it.
