Hi there, I was just checking into my free trial thing of trip.com 's professional tracking services and i noticed that tonite Condor (763), British Airways (772) are coming in as usual. but at approx 8:20pm Iberia flt.6125 is supposedly flying into Tampa. I just checked their website and Tampa is not even one of their destinations... is this new, or possibly a divertion from miami? (mind you its still 1900miles away at this time)... It doesn't list the aircraft type yet, so maybe we will be seeing something new at Tampa yet again. I am going to check it out if it still comes in, I will letcha know if noone knows already.

hi there, it just switched to miami, so yup its the scheduled flight to miami, must've had a screwup in the flight plan that they finally rectified. oh well, condor and british airways will do for now i guess hehe.
as to the professional flight tracking thing, you can do the Free Trial for free... just click on their 'check out our professional...' button and it will lead you to another page where you click on a free trial button and then you fill in the blanks and you get a 2 week free trial. They base it on your email address, meaning if you have 18,000 hotmail accounts, you can get 18,000 different 2 week free trials. its pretty neat... if you are going to an airport you can printout a list of aircraft coming in within a 2 or 4 hour block, and you can track various individual flights, etc. check it out :)

I also checked in with my free trial, and I typed in 1789 a United Flight, and it said "Flight Not Found" and I got it from United's online flight schedule. I checked Flight Status on UAL's website and it showed it to be inflight. Do you know anything about this?

hmm, I do recall that when I put in the wrong flight number once, a warning page came up and told me that one of the causes might be that it interpreted the fight as 789, not 1789... but I have never had a problem like that except when I tried to track a delta flight from Narita to Atlanta, and it did not register for quite some time, i gave up, but later when it was about to land (i was sleeping during the flight) it registered. so if its an international flight it *might* not come up right away, but usually it works. you can email them and see their take tho, probably the best route.
