BA T7 Over Nighted At DFW?

Was at DFW earlier today, around noon, and there was a BA 777 parked on the apron south of the International terminal. This is highly unusual in all of my trips out there- usually the BA 777 arrives between 1430 and 1600 and then turns around an hour or more later. I have never seen this aircraft there this early, so did it overnight for some reason?

Thanks in advance for any info someone can provide.

Maybe they couldn't find anyone to fill up the plane so they were waiting until people bought enough tickets to make the flight 50% full.

hmmmm Last time I flew from DFW-LGW the plane was pretty full...

Saw it too, Parked on the hard stand @ TD. But I've learned its best not to ask qustions. Second time I've seen that in almost 5 yrs.

IIRC the last time was due to a crew thing...

I'd like to thank me for flying Me Airways...

Well, yes - if one of the two flight crew is too sick to fly then the remaining flight crew member can't operate the flight on its own. They would either have to wait until a replacement could be flown out (on the next flight for example) or the crew member recovered. Happens occasionally......

The captain was sick, the aircraft will be arriving back at LGW sometime this evening, positioning back with no pax as they were all rebooked.
