After trying to use this wonderful search engine, and not finding anything.
I was wondering whether anybody has the ITVV Virgin 747-400 DVD. I am thinking of buying it as a christmas present for myself and wondering whether it is worth the money.

I have got the Video version. It is very good, lots of explanantion about how the 747-400 works. You get get from before pushback to when they are near the cruise. Then it cuts to the pilots in the cruise and they explain the systems etc and how the A/C works.
You then get the approach and landing into SFO.

ive got nearly all of the ITVV dvd's and the Virgin 744 is my favorite. It has preflight planning, push and start and great views on take off and landing and lots of technobable from the cockpit. If you buy it i think you will want to get more and the A330 is another very good one so is the go 737.I also have the justplanes dvd's which are a joke in comparison to the quality of ITVV's dvd's.

Hello Justplane Crazy... Thanks for the nice compliments.. We've never aimed to produce programs like ITVV which are really about spending 15 minutes on each instrument in the cockpit and they've done that very well... we're about the actual flying, seeing what goes on in the cockpit, hearing communications with ATC, witnessing approaches to more than 700 airports around the world, discovering more than 180 airlines and their operations, in the cabin views and much much more... luckily people around the world have enjoyed our jokes enough for the past 15 years to keep us in business and growing... while ITVV has released nothing but dvds on painting airplanes in the last 5 years...  Smile
