I believe you are correct. However, it is still pretty close to what the A330 would like in the new US Colors, and I must say I can't wait to see one.  bigthumbsup

I've never been much of a fan of any recent livery by US or TZ, but this looks nice. It transitions poorly to the smaller airframes in my opinion, which is probably why I wasn't fond of it.

Looks nice indeed, but..

... US Airways new livery reminds me of Tower Air!

Indeed. The colors look great on anything, but especially so on the larger planes like the A330 and 767.

I must say having seen both in person, whilst the old scheme was very classy this new design brings a breath of fresh air to a company such as US. It's a shame their transatlantic product is so poor compared to their competition!

I think the A330 looks a lot more elegant in the old colors.

A first I didn't like the new c/s but I'm starting to like them. It looks best on the 757 since the fuselage is narrower so it appears less white.

I've seen plenty 320/19's of theirs starting to peel and fade too. Most from 1999/2000. Just like a dark color car, the blemishes / fading / peeling is easier to spot.

As far as I can see, just another boring white plane. I guess it can just blend in with all the rest.

25 Post contains images Captaink : I have seen rather terrible look 767s too. Thank goodness they have the new livery now.
26 Post contains images A5XX : Yup! Truly refreshing. A5XX
27 Aerokiwi : It still strikes me as being "preppy", which is fine for the northeast but less so for the Arizona base IMHO.
28 LASOctoberB6 : so basically an A350 will almost be the same thing as the A330? except the wider fuselage on the 350?
29 Thegooddoctor : I wonder how long till these are wearing Delta colors? The DL/US merger has a long way to go before being reality, but I'd be interested to know if th
