A.net friends,

AA has lost my bag from JFK-GRU. According to what I was reading on AA.com, the max liability is around $630. This doesn't seem right. Could any of you give me more information?

I have no clothes here in Brazil. Should AA provide me any compesation daily? They have not found my bag in JFK yet.

That could very well be right. Off hand I think we (NZ) pay out $40 a kilo.

In the shorterm they should be able to approve emergency spending (it will not be a lot) to buy necessary items etc.
