Over the years I have tended to pop in to this website to view airline reviews. I have recently posted two positive trip reports of flights I took by Meridiana LGW-FLR-LGW. I have flow this route over many years and on balance the flights operate within a reasonable schedule and have in recent years benefited from the introduction of the A319

Non of my posts have been published. I would normally not be bitter about this, but send in a slagging off post and it will get listed! Nothing but gutter journalism if you ask me. Here is a recent example posted by a Sandie Reed on a trip she made from FLR in October

"Once on the plane (nasty, noisy and very scary takeoff) there wasn’t even a free refreshment ..."

Meridiana flies rather smart leather upholstered A319's out of FLR. The take-off remains one of the few enjoyable commercial departures left due to the short runway and early procedural turns. There are no free refreshments as clearly advised on the Meridiana website, but given most of their flights are 1-2 hours, get over it and buy some water and a sandwich in the departure hall!

Skytrax? More like Skylax

I've tried to post a review once and it got published within 24 hours. Weird that yours don't get published. It was a positive review about KLM, that usually gets bad reviews. So maybe there was another issue with your posts? Don't know what it could be, but has to be something...

Strange! I tried to post a positive review about Scandinavian Airlines recently, and Skytrax published it. Many other Skytrax posts about Scandinavian are negative (complaints about their old MD-80 aircraft, bad catering and the like)

Same thing happened to me shankly. I posted a positive review about Virgin Atlantic. It never got posted

Then I made the mistake of believing the ratings found there, and booked a business class seat on a carrier that they rate as 5*.

Let's just say that I strongly suspect that these ratings are bought! Either that or there is something seriously awry with some people's judgement. Just let's say you could not get me to think that their opinions are credible anymore.

A bigger question is why would the airline that won it's Airline of the Year 2004 award did not even acknowledge doing so.

To be fair though, they probably do get a lot of comments. You're better off using your time elsewhere like here on Airliners.net I say.

Anyone can fly, only the best Soar.

Skytrax is utter crap, Ive heard that some money has flowed between carriers and the site (QR). I also do not think that the passenger reviews paint a true colour of the airline,in other words its fixed, Airliners.net is the best source for information in my opinion by far, I dont bother looking on Skytrax.

Definately. I've never seen one good comment about VS on Skytrax, yet the airline has it's own fan site (www.v-flyer.com). I've had two relatively negative reviews published (FR and BA) but just remember, if someone's flight goes perfectly OK then they're probably not going to write about (unless their on this site!)
