It would then seem that very few of the displaced outstation workers are willing to move to MSP or possibly DTW. One story circulating is that, at least in MEM, not near as many full timers that were made part time are moving on either but instead staying, at least until they can get stabilized, and excepting the lessor houred positions. This may have made many of the part time applicants that went through training now redundant. It is assumed that few would be willing to go to another station for those wages.
Another round of early retirements are also in the rumor mill. These are caused by disatisfaction with the quality of new hires by the older agents and the further deterioation of working conditions that causes.
