I made this video 16 years ago while flying a Twin Otter for Era Aviation. I finally got around to digitizing it to share here. Most scenes are from Bethel, Alaska, but there is a nice shot of landing 200 miles north of Alaska on the ice flows. It really was as fun as it looked!

Actually Era pulled out of Bethel about a year-year and half ago.
So what you recorded is history anyway.
Are you up to speed on Rowan selling Era to some Gulf helicopter operater that spun and sold off the airline last year to one of the Native corps (I forget which one). They went into bankrupcy protection last year. No more Convairs, DC-3's, Bethel hub. Right now they are flying 4 Dash-8's and the remaining Otters-which the 1900D's are going to replace. Probably will concentrate in SouthCentral for the time being.
