Any Info Behind An Allegheny L-1011 Tristar?

I noticed at the US HQ office, they had a scale model of a L-1011 in Allegheny colors (vistaliner scheme) in the Allegheny collection area.

I wondered if this was just a custom made model, or did Allegheny ever have a proposal to order L-1011s?

I tried to search for the L-1011 and Allegheny together and could not come up with any info having both being related.

There is a bit of info here, there was a brief run of L-1011s for PSA, maybe it is because of the later merger?

PSA parked their Tristars in 1976. Lockheed bought them back and leased them to Aero Peru in 1978.

Oh, well then it looks like their L1011s were far from the table then for USAir... They weren't even in the same room!  

If PSA had them to the point that US bought them, do you think that USAir would have taken them? I believe US got their 767s from the Piedmont buyout in 1989 if I am not mistaken

I guess it does have to do probably with a corporate brochure Lockheed tried to give to Allegheny, so they made an 1:100 scale L-1011 in the old Allegheny colors.

It looked very interesting.
