I think it looks great and reminds me of other "retro" liveries such as the Airbus 320 that Air Canada repainted in the old TCA colours a few years back.
What other "retro" liveries would you like to see on aircraft flying in todays fleets? Me? I'd love to see a BOAC Boeing 777.

Although this may sound stupid, I would love to see AA paint half of their fleet in the retro scheme. It looks great on the 757, and I would love to see what it looks like on the 777, md-80, and 767.
Also, TWA should paint a 767 in the old double globe scheme that they had during the 60's.
I think the AC retro jet scheme is very nice, and is as good, if not better, than their current livery.

WOW, does that Avianca plane ever look awesome! I wonder why more airlines haven't done this?
I wonder when British Airways' big anniversary for jet travel would be - the date the DHC106 Comet I was introduced into service? It would be just too awesome to see an aircraft - 747-400 or 777-200 - painted in the old BOAC livery!

How about an A330 in the original USAir colors- the red/maroon scheme?

Dear Scotty,
I'd love to see US Airways do a retro Mohawk Airlines scheme--the one used on BAC 111's with the horizontal stripes and indian head on the tail. It would look great on an A320 or 757.
Also, an Allegheny airlines plain-jane navy-blue stripe and red bird-figure might be fun. Also on A320 or 757.
Also a retro American mid-sixties scheme with the white, red-bordered ball and navy eagle, on the tail. They've done the 1950's scheme but the 1960's one is better. How about a 777 in that one?
United's early 1970's scheme with the red stripe and stars, before they adopted the 70s/80s scheme, is also fun. A 767 or A320 (types UA didn't have then) would be fun.
Also, NW could do an A320 in a retro North Central Airlines 'duck' scheme.

I would like to see UA do this retro color scheme.
