Okay here I go...
The 777-200's old seats had most of the same features that the Int'l first class ( not first suite) had. It had electric movements and lumbar support and a footrest. My dad had the pleasure of flying it LHR-IAD back in '97. The 747 planes had diffrent chairs. The -100 were in two class back then so the chairs were domestic meaning they had no footrests etc. The -200, -400 used to have these seats whith manual power to put the footrest up and recline and had no PTVs. The 767s had the same.
RECLINE: Those seats had pretty good recline I think it went inadequate stated by a passenger on untied.com e/c for the domestic seats I dont know the exact degree. Mabye ILUV767 can answer that.
FOOTREST: The footrest ran pararell to the floor in a dropping manner. Not confortable.
I do not know what UA has done with them. I dont know if they auctioned them or not or if they threw them away.
I would get a seat on the upper deck in UA Business. I have flown in the middle seat and did not like it. The front row though had a hell of a lot of legroom. To sum it up I would rather be in a 2-2 than a 2-3-2.

I can tell you that the 767-200s have PTV's on the first class seats. I don't know the exact degree of recline on the 767 seats, but I do know that it is a lot. I think its between 120-160 degrees. I'll check Ual.com and get the exact degree of recline.
I've seen many old business and first class seats in storage at the seat shop in SFO, at the maintence base. They all had a plastic wrap all over them; it looked like they were to be shipped somewhere.

Described by a passenger on untied.com, he said that the footrest only reached mid-calf, forget the drooping manner crap I said earlier. Thus your lower calf would be not supported. I flew the new business class back in apirl and the backcycler lumbar support was the best! It really went far into my spine. You can inflate/deflate to your prefrence.
I dont know about the seats. As ILUV767 said that the seats are in storage at SFOMB where as I am in IND, the base here takes out seats from A319, A320, B737, B757 and 767 fleets.
