Last night I was going through the garage and found a box of my father's stuff from the 60s and 70s. One was a plastic card, the size of a credit card, that had the CO logo on it and said "Order of the Golden Dragon". Lower down it explained that this card was given to pax crossing the 180th meridian.

Does anybody know anything more about this "order"? I'd be curious to know for how long CO gave out these cards, if other carriers did anything similar, what eligible routes would have existed during this timeframe, etc.
