Maybe it doesn't deserve an entire thread, but I have been listening to JFK Tower for the past few days, and JetBlue as a lot of flights. I mean it sounds like US Airways and CLT, or AA and Miaim, in terms of how many times I hear the tower talk a JetBlue flight. So what is the size of their ops at JFK? THey what 100 airplanes?

Its pretty sizeable. JFK is their largest hub and they are the dominant airline at JFK. Im not quite sure how many flights they operate, but I would venture to say well over 100.

JetBlue does have a very sizeable operation at JFK even though they are a bit smaller than most airlines in the United States. They operate 95 A320s and 22 E190s with near 200 flights daily from JFK. They operate over 500 nationwide.

I think we are only dominant carrier in respects to departures. I believe that AA and DL are larger when you concider actual seats flown in and out of JFK.

This Wednesday and several "peak days" in December (I think the 22 & 23, don't remember off the top of my head), JetBlue will operate a record 175 departures from JFK.
