China Airlines 330 To Australia From January 2007

China Airlines start A330 operation to Australia (Brisbane and Sydney) effective 01JAN07.

Currently, Taipei - Brisbane and Taipei - Sydney, each operates 3 weekly, is using A340-300. The A330-300 will boost additional capacity by roughly 40-50 seats on one flight.

Taiwan and Australia recently finalized modification of bilateral deal which allows increasing capacity and 5th freedom rights between Taiwan and Australia via 3rd country.
