Hey guys,

I just found this in the database.
The first Virgin Express plane painted in the sheme of the new company.
Looks pretty smart on that 737.

Any information on the callsign & ICAO identifier of Brussels Airlines yet? I heard they were keeping SN for their IATA code.

S.

(this BA vs BA thing is going to be confusing ... and I have trouble calling them BRA  boggled  Wink

Has the interior been changed as well? After all the awful grey leather seats will never match with the now defunct SNBA seats!

Should be the same inside.

OO-VEN is the next to be painted up and should be flying around this time next week (Wednesday 29th).

Eurgh... I flew a VEX 733 and 734, and both were pretty vile inside.

The colourscheme looks excellent on the 737... quite revitalising!

Correct me if i'm wrong but the flight assignments will pretty much be the same for Brussels Airlines as it was for SN Brussels and Virgin Express respectively, right? Meaning that the 737's will fly old Virgin Express routes and rest of the fleet will fly old SNB routes.

It's a shame the old vex colour scheme is going to disappear. When I saw the scheme on Sn's A319, I didn't like it, but I actually like this scheme on the 737.

Alright I understand that all aircraft will be repainted sooner or later. Still I find it surprising that they chose OO-VEK for the first to get the new paint - checking the database, I found out it had last been re-painted in less than one year ago.

Just SNB with a B on it. A least the blue/grey goes all the way along now. Still dull (what Belgium and dull!!), why not start with something new and fresh?
They keep the basic SNB/Sabena style, then scrap the classic S tail the best part of the scheme! I am sure they could of used a name beginning with S ?
