Hi all,

Have just recently booked return flights for my parents ABZ <> CDG <> FRA.
The ABZ <> CDG (ex. ABZ at 11.40, ex. CDG on return at 20.50) flight is operated by Régional - will they offer complementary food and drink? My parents flights are booked in Economy.

The last time I flew AF (ABZ to CDG via GLA!!) was in 1991, hence the questions...

Many thanks,
djb77

yes (food only during meal times), the service on regional A/C is the same as on mainline AF European network. There's no C class on regional A/C.

I've flown with Regional a couple of times and alyways enjoyed it. Drinks are complimentary and depending on how long the flight is you also get a small something to eat. On a 50 minute flight from BSL to LYS on the morning flight we got a choice of either coffee, tea or hot chocolate, orange juice and a croissant or a pain au chocolat. Which I thought was brilliant, for such a short flight!

Goldorak,

sorry but I must correct I flew on C-Class from BHX to CDG in a BAE146 from regional (not City jet) and there was a C-Class, with a meal and champain to start.

cheers

Regional do not own any BAE146 aircraft. Only CityJet do. And they do normally fly that route anyway, so I think you flew with WX?

Just checked on AF site, only Cityjet has 20 BAE146

Besides I flew CDG-BRE with regional and it is a single class. So Goldorak, you are right for Regional. It was a An Embraer145

Marcus

Well, that's not too bad !!! on such short flights ... and considering that many airline don't give you ANYTHING, or charge you (even for water) on flights up to 3 hours (Iberia, Spanair ...)

Hey,

I have taken this flight in April 2006. My routing was ABZ-CDG-PRG (one way)

It was the last afternoon flight departing from ABZ-CDG on AF. It was Embraer 145 a/c.

We recieved small muffins and chocolate and soft drinks, wine or beer or juices.

there were only 27 people onboard so the F/A came several times during the 2 hour something flight with muffins and drinks.

Wish your parents a good trip

Next Flight: Oct 10: PRG-MUC-KIV EMB 195/CRJ 900, Oct 12: KIV-MUC-PRG CRJ900/EMB 195 wiht Lufthansa
