The airport of Nïmes (Provence-France ) has awarded the management and operational responsibility to the french service-group Véolia.
Véolia won against Keolis group.
Challenge for Véolia is to boost traffic.
Currently only Ryanair serves FNI with flights to Charleroi,Luton,East Midlands and Liverpool.
The number of currently 240.000 passengers should be brought to about 320.000 within one year,by diversifying the number of airlines serving Nïmes.
Nïmes airport is a mixed military-civil infrastructure.Owner of the premises are the French Aéro-Naval .The military standard runway is 2500 Meters long.
