AC Airbus Returns To Calgary - Smoke In Cockpit

Hi everyone,

Heard on the radio (CBC 1010) on the way home from work that at around 4:30 Mountain Time, an Air Canada airbus [no type given] returned to Calgary airport after smoke was reported in the cockpit. An inspection was done by ground fire crews but no hot spots were found.

-40*C with the windchill - not pleasant weather to be sitting out on the tarmac!

Any updates on the situation?


Someday, we'll look back at this, laugh nervously, and then change the subject.
