The crisp blue sky belies the 25 degree temperature (farenheit that is). On this gorgeous day in Jaunuary, 1996, I photographed this immaculate looking old colors United 727 taxiing in at COS. It had snowed the night before and the white powder on the ground (along with the snowplow in the background) made for a really nice picture.

Speaking of 727s, I saw a PamAm 727 landing (27L) at ORD today. Looks good. On a side note, I saw LY 767 landing (22R). I think I got my runways right. Nice drive-by spotting action for me this morning at around 10.

Nice picture. This brings me back fond memories of my youth, spotting United 727's in that livery everywhere in the United States, back in the late 80's and early 90's. I used to see plenty of those at Chicago O'Hare until the mid 90's.
Believe it or not, I spotted one in Brussels in 1991.
Yes I agree with you. It is nice to fly the day after a snowstorm.
