Monies secured in a settlement with Libya goes to 15,000 former PAA employees. If you were on the payroll at Pan Am on 04 December 1991 you should call: 877.813.3539.
Ask about the "Pan Am liquidation trust" and be sure they have your correct address on file. Cheques should be going out in January 2007.

It's hard to believe that after all these years we are still getting money from Pan Am. I only wish we were still getting regular pay cheques and still working for PAA!

cheers!

I thought the monies were going to the families that were affected by the PA103 tragedy, not the employees....

Yes this is true. Monies went to those affected by PA103, as well as creditors and the last bit to employees. To my understanding it is a small part of our severance package when PA went out of business. In effect, after all were payed, whatever was left over went to the former employees. Hey, it's something right?

Yeah it is something, of course. Now let me ask: Now that PA is gone, defunct or however you want to call it.... who is managing the monies to prevent fraud and whatnot?

Yeah, you'll get pennies on the dollar. Don't count on all you are owed, the creditors get the biggest share, then the families of PA-103, employees and former employees get what ever is left.

And how much would you get without the lawyers?
