I see 60 737NG as UFO, highlighted in yellow which is supposed to indicate updates for the current week.

Doesn't seem like it's really an update. Is it?

They moved 15 out of the UFO category and listed under dba s o in a sense it is an update.

They moved 15 out of the UFO category and listed under dba so in a sense it is an update. Adding just 1 777 this week. It was a slow week but mainly because of the T-giving holiday. Hopefully the next 4 weeks will provide a lot of action.

I don't think it'll be booked until sometime next year. They have to figure out how to pay for them first before Boeing will list them as a final order.

What happened to the KE Boeing order for:

1 737-700
4 737-900ER
5 747-8F
5 777-200F
10 777-300ER

And the PR order for 6 777-300ER?

Have these two orders been booked yet? I can find nothing on Boeing website except a Statement on the KE order.

I AM ABLE THINK, THEREFORE I EXIST.

I highly doubt it since the order sheet was updated some hours ago  Wink
The deal has obviously not been finished yet.

The PAL requirement for 777-300ERs actually includes only two firm orders, with the rest being from lessors (GECAS, I think).

Anyway, I think we will be seeing some more orders before the end of the year; for a start, I think there will be more 787 orders. SU has until the end of the next week (if not sooner?) to firm up its 787 orders and if it doesn't, it will go back into the pot, to be snapped up by other airlines. Of course, it doesn't have to happen next month (December), but those empty 787 orders won't take long to fill!

A minor detail - FI previously reported that the two firm orders and two options (which would come last) from Boeing was already settled (but with no confirmation from Boeing.) The two leased frames (supposedly from GECAS) to follow the direct orders were (are?) still under an LoI. Might Boeing's silence and non-listing of these on their orders update and GECAS' lack of a distinct two-frame 773ER UFO indicate that financing for those still has to be sorted out?

Absolutely. It's been more than a week since PR announced that they would make a decision. Maybe Airbus came back with a last minute offer.

When I first started coming here about 18 months ago it was expected that SU would be ordering some 787s soon but one thing after another kept getting in their way.

I predict when I'm 50 (another 18 years) we'll still be hoping for a decision on the SU 787 order by the end of the week!
