I was wondering, once the all the airlines get re-located into their respective terminals in 2008, where would SN Brussels Airlines go into?

Although it is not a OneWorld member, it is very close to the alliance and codeshares on various routes from Heathrow. So would it go into Terminal 3 or Terminal 4?(with the non-aligned carriers).

Also with Aer Lingus? I know it is leaving OneWorld, but it is still going to codeshare on the Heathrow - Ireland routes.

What about Asiana?

This also goes for other airlines at Heathrow such as Air Malta with Star Alliance. Im sure there are other airlines/alliances with the same situation at Heathrow too.

Surely if they were all in the same terminal it would make it better for connections.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Asiana is in Star Alliance, so would go to Terminal 1 with its friends.

AFAIK SN has 1 weekly flight operated by the Avro which goes to LHR (on day 6) . All other flights are operated by BA.

I believe that SN sold its LHR slots many years ago.

SN has (had?) a Saturday night flight BRU-LHR that returned LHR-BRU Sunday morning with an Avro....take a look.

They still have two daily flights to Gatwick, morning one operated by a 319 and evening one with avro.

They are mainly used as feeders for the african network.

The agreement between BA and SN was effectively that all BRU-LHR (except that Saturday night, Sunday morning flight) would be operated by BA metal. The same agreement saw all code shared flights on the BRU-BHX route - six a day on weekdays operated with SN metal.

How this will pan out if flybe go ahead (after due diligence) and buy BACON remains to be seen. But it does seem possible we could see flybe metal on the BHX-BRU route and SN metal back on the BRU-LHR route.
