This is from AR's website, is aa2000 working on a new Terminal or just some "make up" on Terminal B?
I remember one of the original plans ( I can't remember where I saw it) was to leave just the international terminal ( AR and Int'l airlines in one place) and build something very similar to this:

Quoting USADreamliner (Thread starter): is aa2000 working on a new Terminal or just some "make up" on Terminal B?
Excellent question. Last year, AA2000 announced they would raze the existing AR terminal [which is circa 1940's construction] and build a new terminal, incorporating the existing EZE international terminal. And, yes, the new terminal looked very similar to Ankara's new airport.
It's been over a year and no sign of construction...
Last week at the ALTA Latin America airline conference in Cancun, ALTA Executive Director Alex de Gunten BLASTED regional airport operators for rising charges, specifically singling out AA2000, as well as private operators at UIO and Mexico.
Just like BA, VS, BM, etc. love to hate BAA, AA2000 gets singled out for criticism. However, the situation is a bit more complicated as AA2000 made a deal with the 'K' administration earlier this year allowing for higher airport charges, following years of below-contract charges after the 2001 devaluation.
Other projects promised at EZE, such as the "one seat" rail service to the Constitucion station downtown, have not been discussed in ages. Lot's of grand plans and no action...
