I saw something very unusual in BIQ today: HZ-AKJ visit us. It's obviously the first time, and also the first 777 to visit BIQ.
I was on my way home at noon in a round-about when I saw this huge bird in final, literally in my windshield. I made a stop at the airport after the lunch and discovered the beast. Woow, that something really different!
You have to understand that the average visitor in BIQ is any members of the A32X family (Air France), Fokker 70/100 and ERJ (Air France) and 737 (Ryanair)
There is also plenty of Biz jets (Biarritz is a famous beach resort).
A maintenance guy at the airport told me that the 777 was there for a private flight. Any other information?
I was delighted by the show, including a wonderful take off!

Saudi Arabian Airlines is in talks with Boeing to replace some older aircraft in its fleet. The airline operates several aircraft that are over 20 years old, including seven 747-100s (built between 1981 and 1982), nine 747-300s (built between 1985 and 1986) and 11 Airbus A300-600s (built between 1983 and 1984).
