I know that there are 3 752s with winglets flying around (N535NW N536NW N538NW) and all 3 were added in October. i haven't seen any new regs with winglets yet (i work at MSP so i'd see anything new). dose anyone know if any more 752s went in for winglet installation this month? or when the next ones are planned. also what about the cabin modifications. when will they start those? and i hope they are adding new seats and AVOD like CO is, though that's a really big stretch for NW to go that far. I know they are taking out about 20 seats total, and new WBC will be added. coach will have about 2 inches more leg room. those Y seats really do need to be replaced, they look like they are about to fall apart.

Word is in March. They're going to look like the 753's. They'll recieve the the 777 style bins. In all, 6 planes will have the winglets by then. It's a gamble as of right now if all aircraft will have the cabin mods by then. The priority is to get the WBC product up and running first and coach section configured seat-wise. The new overhead bins are less of a priority at this point. If they don't modify those right away, they'll be put on hold until they enter the D-phase maintenence.

The WBC seats will resemble the current WBC seats found on the 747-400 and A330 aircraft, but abit narrower. It won't include the IFE in the seat itself. The WBC passengers will get portable entertainment players issued to them for loan during the flight. FA's will pass them out after take off and collect them prior to landing. They'll be accounted for and locked in a trolley prior to landing. In coach, the overhead bins will include flipdown video screens like those found on the 757-300's. And the video control unit will be updated to what is on the newer 757-200's(ships 5650-5657) and the the 5800 series 757's(-300's)

Thanks for the info. At least it will have flip down monitors instead of the old CRT monitors they have in there now..... which should go anyway to save on weight.
