I am going to be travelling through China in a few weeks and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the following airline designations are??

WU421 - Wuhan - Kunming on July 28th

and

G8646 - Kunming - Ningbo on August 1st

I would like to know who the airlines are, WU and G?

If anyone can help that would be great.
Thank you,
Slawko

I don't know about WU but G8 (not G) is Gujarat Airways based in India with a fleet of 5 Beech 1900's.

Airline designations are 2 or 3 letters (IATA or ICAO) not 1.

Are you sure about WU?

WU is Wuhan Airlines, but the G8 has me stumped as that appears as something else. Could the first letter somehow have been dropped and is it flight 4G8646 as 4G is Shenzen Airlines.
Cheers.

Thank you all both for your help.

I have done some more research and it turns out that the G8 is Air Great Wall

But thanks for the info about Wuhan Airlines
